Interior decorating across South Manchester

Internal decorating is the bulk of what we do — single rooms, whole houses, and everything in between. A bedroom while you're at work, a full repaint before you move in, or a phased job through a house you're already living in.

Most of a good interior finish happens before any topcoat goes on. Filling, sanding, caulking the gaps where woodwork meets wall, sealing new plaster properly, and priming anything bare. It is the least interesting part of the job and the part that decides whether the room still looks right in five years, so it doesn't get rushed.

We work clean. Carpets get covered, furniture gets sheeted or moved into the middle and wrapped, and the room is tidied at the end of every day rather than at the end of the week. If you are living in the house while we work, that matters more than anything else we could tell you.

How a job usually runs

We come out and look at the work in person, talk through what you want and give you a written quote — free, and with no obligation, anywhere within about 15 miles of South Manchester. If you're happy, we book a date and give you a realistic number of days rather than an optimistic one.

On the last day we walk round the finished work with you before we pack up. Anything you're not happy with gets put right there and then, while the kit is still in the van.

We use trade materials throughout — Dulux Trade, Little Greene, Farrow & Ball, Johnstone's Trade and Crown. If you have a colour in mind we'll get it mixed; if you haven't, we're happy to help you narrow it down.
