Wythenshawe is home — we are based on Robinswood Road, so this is the one area where we can genuinely be round in a few minutes to look at a job.

Most of Wythenshawe was built as a garden city in the 1920s and 1930s, which means a great deal of solidly built semi-detached and terraced housing with generous rooms, bay windows and original timber. Many have had render, new windows or extensions added since, so no two are quite the same inside.

The common jobs here are full redecorations after a move, single rooms brought up to date, artexed ceilings and textured walls made flat again, and old gloss woodwork rubbed down and brought back in a modern satinwood. Original 1930s doors and skirtings are usually good timber and well worth saving rather than ripping out.
